FOUNDER/DIRECTOR

Ms. Shamika Satre is an internationally certified cosmetologist, professional make-up artist and a certified Life coach. She’s also a Beauty & Make-up Educator and an Assessor for international beauty examinations. As a custodian of quality education, she’s very dedicated about making education, specifically her art related education, a pioneer through her academy, BENCI. Some of her qualifications include –

CIDESCO Diploma In Beauty Therapy – (Switzerland).
Advance Complete Makeup Artist Graduate – Delamar Academy (London).
VTCT – Level 3 Assessor For Beauty And Nails (UK Certification)
Post-Graduation Diploma In Cosmetology
Certified Life and Wellness Coach.

She has experience needed specially for the industry and most importantly, the practical knowledge needed for the international market. Main aim of starting Benci is to bring international training standards to India. The make-up and beauty industry survives on practical knowledge and international standards. She believes more practicality needs to beincluded in today’s education system to make students survive the cut-throat competition in this world. She has worked as a CIDESCO trainer and as a Centre manager for a reputed school in India earlier in her career. Some of the projects that she has worked on, throughout her working life include hair & makeup artist for several fashion shows & beauty events along with speaking for many beauty seminars and guest appearances at several lectures and workshops. She has also led a team of junior artists who have industry experiences under whom the students get practical and industry knowledge. Some of her freelance projects involve makeup projects, and assisting and working with actors and actresses. Some of her hobbies include reading a lot of self-help and self-growth books, singing and listening to different music, cooking for the soul, traveling, exploring new places, and meeting new people as she believes there’s so much to learn from everything and everyone around.
